Participants show up clad in Santa Claus suits to receive a free day of skiing or snowboarding, as well as vouchers for two additional days of admission at Sunday River Ski Resort in Newry (near Bethel), Maine. Participants also donate at least $10 apiece to the Bethel Rotary Club's annual Christmas drive for families in need.
