The images in this photo gallery are
only a small portion of the photographs taken during hot air ballooning
events
at the 2003 Winterfest celebration in Bethel, Maine. The pictures include
aerial photographs of Bethel, ME in the winter, a "splash and dash" on
the Androscoggin River (at the time frozen and under snow), and pictures
of balloons against the landscape of the Western Mountains
of
Maine.
